As a young boy, I used to lock myself in a makeshift darkroom in the bathroom and develop photographs. I captured my very first attempts at photography using my father's Praktica SLR.
My first camera of my own was a Canon compact — very basic by today's standards, but for me, as an enthusiast, it was a true artistic tool.
Several years later, I fell in love with digital SLR photography as well. In the meantime, I studied in a completely different field, yet the desire to explore new places, discover their atmosphere, and translate my emotions into images has stayed with me to this day.
